Installation Services

The final piece of the Thinking Space service is the installation of the furniture on site. All Thinking Space offices offer a dedicated installation service using our own in-house engineers.

 

Coordinated by our project management team, the installation service can work with or separately to the delivery service, depending on the location and project plan.

 

All furniture is custom designed and built to meet your requirements. To manage the risk of potential issues, all of the furniture is pre-assembled in the factory ready for inspection. This reduces the risk of problems on site and keeps the installation time down to a minimum.

 

Our installation team will liaise with contacts on site, to confirm time of arrival and when leaving site on completion. All furniture is fully assembled with accessories fitted ready for inspection.

Transporting your Furniture

Further to the assembly and inspection of the furniture in the factory, the goods are dismantled into sections ready for packing. The size of the sections will be determined by the access limitations on site and the packing restrictions, particularly if being shipped overseas.

The Thinking Space project manager will coordinate the best methodology for your site, considering the route to the install area, delivery capabilities and the timescales of the project.

Local deliveries are often fulfilled using dedicated Thinking Space vehicles. Our install team will unload on arrival and complete the installation as per the project plan.

For international projects, all furniture is broken down into sections and securely loaded into wooden packing crates, suitable for air or sea freight.

CHAS Certification

Thinking Space are a CHAS accredited company. This ensures that our project management and installation team follows the appropriate health and safety procedures when on site.

Ahead of any site work, the Thinking Space projects team will complete the necessary risk assessments and method statements that are applicable to the scope of works. On larger projects, our health and safety consultants are engaged to create a plan for the works involved. A project plan is also created to oversee all works.

A site induction period is always factored in to the installation timescales.

Installation Training

It is easy to install your console yourself. We will provide training for you and your contractors on request. We have a selection of interactive video tutorials to help you.

Only a few tools are required to complete the necessary assembly, giving our clients flexibility as well as delivering costs savings on your project.
