1.Understanding your requirements
Starting with your initial query, one of our experienced sales specialists will work with you to understand your requirements and preferences. We will conduct a site survey so that we can understand the physical elements and constraints and make the best use of space.
We will interact with you to understand the roles of operators, workflows, and priorities, as well as your technological needs.
We will create a vision for your control room, where furniture has the latest ergonomic features so that operators feel comfortable and are productive during long, demanding shifts.
2. Our in-house expertise
Our team of highly skilled designers works with the sales specialist to create high-quality sales proposal drawings using AutoCad Inventor. Small teams focus on specific sectors to understand the challenges faced in control rooms, allowing them to propose a workable solution for you.
All drawings provide eye levels and viewing angles and propose ergonomic solutions. From sales proposal drawings, to comprehensive site drawings and highly detailed technical models for manufacturing your furniture, our design process and the technology we use reduces lead times and ensures accuracy at all stages.
3. Conforming to standards and compliance
All Thinking Space design proposals recognize the human factor of control room operators. Wherever possible, our designs conform to British standards for control room design:
- BS 11064
- BS50518 parts 1-3 for alarm receiving centers
- DDA compliancy for disabled users of furniture and buildings
4. Design proposal drawings
The final element of the design proposal process is a detailed 2D and high-quality 3D rendered drawing with four views as standard to help visualize your control room and gain approval for your project.
