Thinking Space 2024 Recap and Plans for 2025
As 2024 draws to a close, it's the perfect time to reflect on the milestones Thinking Space has achieved this year and to look ahead to the plans for 2025.
Key Projects and Collaborations
This year, Thinking Space has been involved in several significant projects across various industries.
Notably, we partnered with South Caernarfon Creameries (SCC), a Welsh dairy producer established in the 1930s, to design their new control room.
Collaborating closely with their SCADA systems provider, we developed a solution featuring five operator positions, seamlessly integrating SCC's branding and operational requirements.
In another major project, we completed a fit-out for WhiteTower Energy's power station control room.
This project included the refurbishment of the control room and supporting areas, including the server room, meeting room, offices, kitchen, and changing facilities.
The control room was equipped with two large multi-operator consoles, designed to meet the client's specific requirements.
Team Expansion and Development
Growth and innovation are important, and we realise that.
So, we expanded our team in 2024.
In January, we welcomed Ryan Thomas to our Sales Team, focusing on core sales in the North.
Ryan is very experienced and has a fresh perspective, allowing us to improve our ability to serve clients effectively.
We also welcome Greg, Eva, and Andrew to the team as Design Draughtpersons!
Finally, another member of our team, Luke, reached a huge 10-year anniversary at the company which we were proud to celebrate.
Community Engagement and Charity Initiatives

At Thinking Space, we believe in giving back to the community.
This year, we supported Alfie's Wish through various fundraising activities!
Our team participated in the Romsey Relay Marathon, raising over £600 for the charity.
Additionally, we hosted our 5th Bake Off with a sports theme, where staff showcased their baking talents, contributing to the cause.
Our Commercial Director, Paul Roberts, won the competition with his impressive golf-themed cake.
In July, team member Oakley Bailey Barnes undertook a 15,000ft skydive, raising over £700 for Alfie's Wish.
Furthermore, in September, 18 team members participated in the 'Walk the Test Way' event, collectively raising £722, with donations still coming in.
Farewell to a Valued Team Member

After two decades of dedicated service, Paul Atkins retired in June 2024.
Joining Thinking Space in 2004, Paul's leadership and expertise has been a great contributor to our success as a company.
We want to say a heartfelt thanks to Paul for his commitment and wish him a fulfilling retirement.
Looking Ahead to 2025
Happy with the achievements of 2024, we’re ready for an even better 2025.
We plan to improve our product offerings, focusing on adaptable build systems and engineered designs specific to clients' exact requirements.
Sustainability is still a priority, with continued use of recyclable materials and future-proof colour matching.
Our commitment to exceeding customer expectations and providing a professional service is always a prime concern.
We aim to explore new designs and solutions, and hope for a continuous achievement within our team.
