Control Room Furniture for the University of Sussex

Thinking Space Systems have recently completed the upgrade of security control room furniture within the control room at the University of Sussex.  It was a project in-waiting for some time. Extensive rebuilding was needed to provide a suitable space for the entire security suite, and significant investment in new technology for CCTV, alarms and access control needed to be supported by the establishment of a modern, ergonomically sound and aesthetically pleasing control room, in which security staff could feel comfortable and be able to deliver a high quality service to the university community.

Thinking Space Systems were contracted by Sussex Estates and Facilities LLP to design the layout, manufacture and install the new furniture, consisting of an l-shaped console, with the technology being provided by the university.  The control room was completed last September with some of the technology still to be installed.
