Fundraising once again!
We’re back to fundraising once again now that restrictions have eased.
And what better way to fundraise than to spend a day out in the fresh, clean air of the Test Valley.
Keeping our fingers crossed for fair weather, we’ve once again signed up to participate in the 18th edition of ‘Walk the Test Way’, being held on Sunday 26th September.
Twelve of us will be walking the 11 mile route through the beautiful countryside, starting at Stockbridge with the finish line back in Romsey.
In preparation for the event, shoes have been worn in, weatherproof clothing tested and plenty of protein snacks are being ordered for the big day.
We’re hoping to get our fundraising initiatives back on track again and continue to support our charity, Rose Road Association.
Back in 2019, we raised over £2500 for the charity, which provides vital services for over 400 children and young people with severe physical disabilities and learning difficulties across Hampshire.
The fundraising allowed the charity to buy interactive toys for the children, and also included two iPads with communications software to allow the children to communicate by choosing words and phrases to make sentences.
